As part of the Baltimore County Dance Celebration, on February 8, 2015, free dance classes and demonstrations will be offered throughout the County.
“Dance studios are opening their doors so people of all ages and experience can dance free –and dance for free,” said Candice Webster, director of Towson University Community Dance, who organized the day of free classes for the Take a Leap dance celebration. “If you’ve always wanted to try tap dance, here’s your chance to borrow a pair of tap shoes and give it a try. If you know a budding ballerina or hip hop star, stop by a studio and learn some moves. It’s all about trying something new and having fun.”
Free classes and demonstrations in ballet, Afro Cuban, hip hop, tap, modern, jazz and swing are offered at studios in Cockeysville, Parkville, Randallstown, Phoenix, Owings Mills and Towson. See the full schedule here, under “February 8.”
