BCPS sophomores, juniors, and seniors are invited to register for a FREE summer workshop offered by the Community College of Baltimore County. The workshop, to be held July 20-24, 2015, will cover various cyber security topics and showcase what CCBC has to offer students while in high school and after! The workshop will be based at the Catonsville campus where students will work in the FabLab to complete projects and work on a 3D printer. On two days, students will be transported to the Essex campus to see CCBC’s new Cyber Institute.

Location: Meet daily for the workshop on the Catonsville campus HTEC Building Lot 5.
Drop off: 8:30-9 a.m. daily
Pickup: 3-3:30 p.m. daily
Topics covered to include: programming concepts, Sketch programming platform, wireless security, search engine utilization; how to search the web more efficiently (how hackers gather data), building a test environment using virtual machines
Meals:Students will be responsible for their meals. We have onsite facilities for their lunches or storage for meals brought from home.
