Latino and black students are invited to apply for a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) Summit at Towson University, August 13-14, 2015. In addition to a focus on STEAM, the Summit will help students with leadership development, cultural awareness and understanding, and collegiate preparation. Along with these workshops, high school students will have the opportunity to participate in a talent show and to spend the night in a college dorm. The nonrefundable application fee is only $10. There is no cost for the summit.
The program is sponsored by the U.S. Hispanic Youth Entrepreneur Education (USHYEE) and Towson University. The deadline for registration is July 29, 2015.
